Restless Sleep
Restless Sleep
At night a misty sleep perchance to dream
Visions flowing in my head
A flash of loveliness as I see you
Oh! How I wish you dreamed of ~ me too
A wisp of your lovely hair and eyes so true
Oh! My darling how deeply I am in love with you
I dream of your perfumed loveliness floating in the midnight air
A vision with angel wings ~ you flying there
Oh! I want you so much that my heart doth cries
The night breaths a hundred and one, a thousand sighs!
Oh! Such a restless sleep without you in my arms
I need you beside me with your haunting eyes
A midnight dream to idolize
Come to me not in a dream
Be an existent woman and be my Queen!
Restless sleep why is my dream not here
I search & search in great despair
I must go back to sleep and dream
For how else can I make you my loving Queen!
Now I wake and search for her
A vision of wanting
Could it be you?
I hope your restless dream is of me

I can only hope that one morning soon ~ you will awaken ~ and 'Your Queen' will be lying next to you ~ her head upon your chest ~ looking up at you lovingly with those adoring eyes you so long for.

and I am drunk with mine!
I long for her head upon my shoulder
and have her nestle in my arms ~
