Concrete Meadows

Concrete meadows and cyber streams
This is not the world of my dreams
Yet I survive because I am hip and cool
In cyber space I rule.

Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Nails and hair and makeup glam
Clothes styled for seasons four
Fills my wardrobe and my floor
My mum shouts close that door

I go to school I learn a lot
Some times when teacher ask for home work
I go wow I forgot
For this is school
Some times it cool to act the fool.

Phone and table side by side
Friends message how nice it out side
Mum say out you go
To keep the peace I go with the flow

Concrete meadows and cyber streams
I unplug for while to catch the sun beams
Back on line to leave a post
A cool teen a party host

This my life and I survive
My parents are my guiding eyes

Concrete meadows and cyber streams
This is not the world of my dreams
This is were I post
My silent screams

How true are your words with today's reality. Can't imagine how my grandchildren will be in their world's future; as technology has changed all generations living at the moment in such a short period of time. Thanks for sharing. SM
