ATTITUDE DICE....

Are we happy-contented, or continue to search
A life like springtime, when blossom bursts
Believing others, experience the joys of life
Never comparing souls, who lived through strife

Life is what we make it, yet often we expect more
Like a pantry within a kitchen, plentiful store
To understand hardship, experience true pain
Briefly shed tears, life's storm as falling rain.

Understanding blessings, that may be disguised
Knowing every morning, as our sun will rise
We have the decision, whether to smile or frown
Will earth wear a grey, or a sparkling gown

Attitude's important, though sometimes it's hard
Rather than be prepared, to be always on guard
Consider your blessings, experienced in life
Accept life's balance, roll your happiness dice.

Hi Cathy, really like this one, much to ponder on within its simplicity. Every day i find the contentment, the inner peace to go on. Still, sometimes i have to roll the dice and play the numbers i am dealt. I guess this is what makes life itself an adventure. As i say Kathy, this piece makes the reader think. Have a goos day.
