Sister Love

Me and my sisters, we are the same, yes you and me
All coming from the same place of love and strength but not born of the same mother
We love to hear the laughter and the smile in our voices, touching our rough edges too smooth out the day
Yes you and me!
We pride ourselves in being ladies, mothers, sisters and wives with out pouring love and sharing lots of hugs
Excited to come together to break bread with one-another as we pray, thanking God for the gathering and our friendship
Yes you and me!
We join hands in singing praises lifting our heads above all negative things being grateful to God for the bounty no matter how big or small
Yes you and me!
The bond is more than friends and we love from the heart
It's a joy that cannot be taken away no matter the distance or miles apart
Your comforting words are worth much more than pearls, diamonds and gold
Yes you and me!
The memories we create will last a life time
Thank God for you and the beauty of your spirit
Remember if you are having ups and downs, never turn your smile into a frown
A sister is like a brother but she might stick closer
Yes you and me!
