Broken man

You were magic in my eyes
To beautiful you were
Your womanly charm burned
Through my soul
Perhaps I was to young to
Handle the fire within you
But my young heart plunged
Into the vortex of your
Spirit, and you let me taste
The kiss of your mouth
Your electric eyes never told
Me that I was playing with fire
Yet I was a fool for passion
You drew a portrait of my face
And smiled as I relished your
Talent
We held hands in church but how
Was I to know the devil was in
Your heart?
Men were struck down by your
Beauty
A twitch of your finger, your
Black hair catching the sun and
I was undone
You made me believe I could crush
A mountain with your sensual smile
And you stold my soul with your naked
Body
But you found love in the arms of another
And deaths tears killed my soul
My love had been taken from me
My heart thrown to the wind
All that's left are my scribbled
Thoughts on crumpled paper
I need me back again
What did I do to deserve
This loss?
I lay in the dust waiting
For life..

I've notified the old hags sister, who
is known by the woodsmen as Hagzilla
Sue. Perhaps she can fill the void in
our wretched souls.

So happy for you. Really. You've always
been a great guy in my mind and no doubt
your new found other will discover that
very quickly. Three cheers!

or should I increase my medication?

Could I be a hot apple pie in a boiling
kettle eating a bag of chips and singing
about Leprechaun's?
Just checking.

Need to throw in a little cabbage since the ham is already in! rolling on the floor laughing Apple pie with nutmeg instead of cinnamon. My Mom always used nutmeg.

Cotton candy wouldn't hold up in water - soggy chips. Maybe singing off key!

Jim it's most endearing to value what we experience in our first love encounter. Your vivid memory stays with you I'm sure, and keeps reminding you what was then.

Thanks for the exceptional read. bouquet

Lindsy..
Thank you dear. Actually, that young love
experience taught me not to throw myself
hook, line, and sinker into a relationship
before knowing what their character was
all about. But that was like a million
years ago.

Oh cafe, hug

I, too, had a love that made my heart sing and he broke it when he left me for another. blues I look at these sort of loves as Northern Stars- they guide us where we need to be. wine
