Autumn Leaves

Time passes fast,
But I am slow.
Storms will approach with
Different flow.
Sometimes my tears are like the rain.
They stop and start all over again,
Like emotions in your mind,
The same for women and for men.
We all have feelings
Deep within our skin.
Yet we talk in fiction
Did I lose it all or win.
Must I be alone or
Is someone there,
To hold my hand
But really care.
We are homo-sapiens
Emotions fill our heart.
Yet we must watch incessantly,
The silly or the smart.
Take a chance and spin the wheel or
What's the magic word.
Abracadabra, allakazam
The fitting or absurd.
Your heart is where emotion lies
Like filling to a pie.
They all taste oh so differently,
It makes me wonder why.
We're meant to do and not
It seems like riding on a coaster.
Hot or cold it just pops up
Like bread inside your toaster.
So take a chance and vie for life
And let the sun shine in.
If you had not the meanings
of our hearts would not begin.
The autumn leaves they flutter
Whimsically and hit the ground.
With haste, no waste,
The leaves they fall without a single sound.
They are beautiful and varied,
and they do it all together-
The good and bad are all mixed up,
Through every type of weather.
We're like the leaves that
dance and fall
So mindful of each other.
They show us how to get along,
One first and then another.
