DOES A GOD EXIST II

"Whomever commits a heinous act shall parish like evil deservedly should"
a "1st Commandment" that would assure sinister never takes over good
I'm beyond sick of hearing reason behind everything is " Free Will "
circumstance IS WHY humans can't adhere to "Thou shall not Kill"

So a life of constant sorrow is our 'Gift' from the loving merciful god
"who so ever denies him shan't escape the wrath of his vengeful rod"
Now wait just a minute... let me see if my understanding is correct
this "Gift" a god consciously made mostly painful isn't called neglect

When existing was on the table we respectfully should've had a voice
anyone mentally sound wouldn't accept a life of suffering if given a choice
Why we were forced into "Almighty's" vile world will never be known
if humanity was part of a gods perfect plan it was indubitably blown

"The Bible" claims the "Creator" knows what the future of each human will be
again...it sounds like our suffering was a predetermined conclusion of he
Does this entity sit idly by watching "his children" suffer because he's bored
I beg you...explain how Love or Mercy has anything to do with this Lord

An answer is out there I feel...but ONE All Powerful I can't conceive
I've tried faith but now it's reality I have consciously chosen to believe

It appears that this is your 2nd attempt to express your disbelief in written form. All I can see here with your valiant written expressions is fear. If you really do not believe in God, than why even think about it? Furthermore, why take the time and effort to write about it? You seem convinced that there are so many things wrong with people, and life itself, that it would be impossible that God could exist. I will not waste time debating the issue, you have every right to feel the way you do, although one does have to wonder why you would even waste so much time pondering, then writing about a subject that you are certain that is nonexistent.

Candykid: Well said Sir! I would like to think my writings aren't a (complete) waste of time. I surmise I write about this subject because it is meaningful to me. Though I (Like many others) feel the way I do at this point...I have no intent of belittling or concluding believers are wrong. The simple fact IS, no one knows if their is a god...definitively. Thank you for your comment...it is appreciated!frustrated confused cool

candykid: I forgot to comment on one of your assumptions (about fear). It has nothing to do with fear...it's all about sadness! It's so overwhelmingly sad how a perfectly wonderful loving merciful god allows so many to suffer....(Yes, Free Will).... Thank you again!

I have a coworker who told me his mom died horribly from cancer and never hurt anyone. How could God let her suffer so much if she did nothing to deserve it? I really didn't have an answer for him. I guess sometimes I feel God just isn't fair and then I see some of things he's created and say that was pretty nice of him. I try to be thankful for the joy where I can find it, whether it's Steven Colbert or Gomer Pyle or just a good cheeseburger.cheers

Sorry - another good verse which my cousin's wife posted this morning. He is a minister and she's a minister's wife and she said this verse popped right out at her and posted it. So immediately I thought of you. I know I said I wouldn't post any more - but couldn't pass this one up.

Isaiah 57:1-2

"Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time...No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die."

God is Good.
Miracles happen every day.
Trust in him.

He's a cool guy!

You will be listened to, at the right time you will be answered.

He will lay your terrors deep, and spring your silence of happiness to
a life time of beauty.

Be nice...

thumbs up
