Miuil

While looking in a field of green
I see something, no doubt
A spot far in the distance
Too far off to make it out

A figure in the open plane
A solitary thing
With nothing else around it
Far away from anything

While looking at this object
We then see it start to move
The spot starts to get bigger
And its silhouette improves

It starts to take its shape
We see it's body and it's feet
And then it's right upon us
We are privy to a treat

We welcome such a lovely steed
A really friendly lad
His name we're told is miuil
And his story is so sad

Each day he sits out in a field
Alone, in solitude
Were grasses hardly grow at all
Which causes lack of food

He roams around this open field
No shelter from the rain
Wild winds blow in from everywhere
to run would be in vain

He can't escape the elements
No matter where he goes
but that is not the worst of it
Not everybody knows

This problem is a mental one
It lies within his mind
It's getting worse as time goes on
As bad as you will find

See being alone for so long
Leads to stress, anxiety
Where most would simply lose their minds
If it were left to be

But if a home were found for him
And lots of company
Recovery would not take long
And he would be happy

So if you may know someone
Who would like to take him home
We promise them, they will be glad
And he'll happily roam.

Do you have an RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) over there? I'm sure you would (or similar). In this case of severe neglect and/or malnutrition, notify them, hopefully the can find the b*stard who owns this poor neglected animal, and prosecute them.

We do. He was rescue. He was found abandoned in the middle of nowhere. The owner was never found. The reason I wrote that piece was to hopefully help find him a home which thankfully he has now

Glad you have found him a home
