Rose petals caress the floor Candle light and open fire Wine in hand we sit and stare A beautiful comfortable silence we now share
My fingers gently flow Through your hair ever so slow Your hand meets mine Our eyes speak Now our hands-on our hearts We are cheek to cheek
A kiss I rehearsed many times in my head As I lay alone in my bed We kiss and touch the sands of time flow by The candles go out and a brightness lightens the night sky
A playful gesture you make A bite of your chocolate you offer me to take It is now fixed between your beautiful lips An opportunity I do not miss
The fire burns low and in my shirt, you sit A masterpiece of brushstrokes not one detail missed Our minds art gallery full of loves true bliss
I hold your hand, your body next to mine I gently whisper thank you for being my valentine.
