A Letter Of Closure

Well I've said I'm sorry enough till I'm blue
Only trouble is I've never said it to you

I'm writing a letter of closure
No girl has ever given that to me
You don't have to be so kind I know
But what If I said please

This time I won't let my feelings get in the way
And this is hard for me to say but I'm trying
To regain my composure
I'm sending you a letter of closure

Between all the ifs maybes and guessing
I was lost in the shadows of confessing
I hope this doesn't make things any colder
If you could only answer a letter of closure

But if you don't want to and then we should meet again
I'll just read your mind and at that time
If I'm with friends I'll say I barely know her
And no one will know I was lookin for a letter of closure
