Daughter

A gentle leaf in solemn air,
flew from the tree without a care,
hitching a ride on nature's fare,
and through the breeze, she graced the sea,
to calm the tide and descend to me.
My baby girl, my legacy.

Dude that is heartfelt. Nice work.

What a sweet lovely tribute to your daughter. Print it off and save for her in a little treasure book. When she gets older I'm sure she will hold it close to her heart for the rest of her life.
