Rough Shot

Riding through
tail winds
whipping my feet

rains no matter
blinding my eyes

hair stinging my back
but
I
rode on

no sense of cold
just
moving forward
Sunrise
beckons

away
a halt
to see

deep sadness
creeping
release

I am not far

stringing streams
winding minds

moving future

caressing past
spitting out

the last

Soph..
I don't claim to grasp the import of all you write such as Rob can. I'm only honored by the power of your
being that is graced in your words.

I'm with Cafe - Sophia. Don't always completely understand some of the poets poems but admire their skill in drafting them and the words. I miss a lot of the old poets and the top notch writing some of them did. I learned a lot from them and hopefully have improved my writing skills somewhat.
