Race

They are here
They are there
Race is this place and that place
A face is a face
There is a lot of pain with this race
If we could just love everyone no matter what
Forget about Black History Month
And why is it called history?
What about her story?
It's seem to always be dominated by his story
War and greed
For the most part are male industries
So is this whole race debate just another tool to divide people
So the rich can just gooble up even more than they deserve
Let's just forget about race
And try to make this place
Wherever it is
A place worth living in

About this poem:
I was watching Hotel Rwanda and was thinking about how differences in people can be used for some really evil atrocities.

I recommend: A project of the American Anthropological Association to gain a better understanding of race as a social construction.

So sad - we are all God's children. Wish everyone believed and followed his teachings and word. Thanks for sharing.

You are right

Then you have people that of the same country blatantly steal children in vans, every week!

Shows that a lot of the human race, still have a fair bit of evolving to do, when it comes to accepting each other

sophiasummer, thanks for your comment. That whole child abduction thing is a huge problem here as well. It is definitely a very evil thing to do to something so innocent.dunno
