Canada

You are up north
About 510 miles away from me here in Wisconsin
Canada
I've visited you twice
Once in 2003
And again in 2005
I just did a one night stay in a motel
First in a strip club
The second in a regular hotel
Both were on the way to Winnepeg
I golfed at Rat River Golf
I spent some money with polar bears, loons, beavers, caribous
Sailboats and maple leaves
I got a Mountain Dew with English and French writing on it
I drove my car at 100 kilometers per hour
I listened to some French radio stations
But most of all I felt safer than I do living here in the United States
