Eagles

They look so majestic
These eagles
But I saw one on the side of the road eating a dead raccoon
What is so awe inspiring about that?
Vultures eat dead things
So do flies
We do need these animals to clean up our dead
So they don't pile up and take room away from the living
We burn them in our gas tanks
Dinosaurs and ancient conifers that turned into oil
So what animal doesn't eat dead things that could inspire us
I like Cardinals or Baltimore Orioles
Blue Jays are nice
But we as a nation have decided to use the eagle
It's on our money
But when you think what this nation has done to the world
Maybe
Just maybe the eagle is the right on
