THE BIG BANG

Scientists say the Universe started with a bang
With a force that caused matter to expand
It came out of nowhere is what they say
Formed our planet Earth & Universe as it is today

Really this energy and matter came from nowhere?
Just popped out of the blue they swear?
I have my own theory if anyone really cares
To blow theirs completely (pardon the pun) out of the air

The Universe is full of light with the suns and stars
Their energy gives off light for miles afar
Where did this source of energy and light come from
You know I will say from our Father above

It’s true – God is Good - God is Love – GOD IS LIGHT
No stars are needed in Heaven - that’s right
God is the Sun and the Son is the Lantern
God made the Universe and all its pattern

The source of the energy and light are from Him
He is the Universe and made all within
Our minds cannot understand how big and powerful He is
Even the highest IQ cannot comprehend a grain of this

People will ridicule my poem I’m sure
But does anyone else really know for sure
Think on it and see if you can do a better riddle
For I know the answer to it without a quibble

godsprincess: I love a lot of your words...but are they 100% DEFINITIVE? Yesterday ironically... I seen this program on the History channel that showed proof of humans before Adam and Eve. The Bible proclaims god created THE FIRST TWO BEINGS...something to ponder.

Thank you dear friend Christian. I figure anyone who is researching the information must be thinking about God if even to disprove that He exists. Hopefully in their research they will come to know the TRUTH of the Word. On Bible Gateway they have had several articles of archeological finds that have proven a lot of things did happen as recorded in the Bible. So in a way The Word is also a written History Books as the events were relayed by generations.

No one knows God's timeline in creation. So how archeologists can say 100% DEFINITIVE that humans existed BEFORE Adam and Eve - I don't know. Because unless they have definitely FOUND Adam and Eve - I do not feel they have 100% proven it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

But - Hey - at least we are talking about it. And talking about it makes people aware and wonder. Right?

Yes Sophia - God is Good - God is Love - God is Light! God is all Good - that is why He turned away from Jesus when He was on the cross. Jesus took all the world's sins onto Him at that point and God cannot look upon sin - so He turned away. Jesus did this so that He could make a way for us to reconcile our sins with God. What greater gift could He have given but His earthly life for our Eternal Life. Boggles the mind.

godsprincess: I absolutely respect people who stand firmly behind what they believe in, whatever it may be. That said...I feel everyone should do the same when it comes to the feelings of others. NO ONE knows the definitive truth, period! I know their is more evidence that disproves than proves...

I believe in the provable, the natural and the observable. I do not believe in having blind faith, this extends to everything. Does this mean I agree with the Big Bang Theory? Parts of it yes. Other parts are more obscure or unlikely to be provable in the foreseeable future, if ever. Does this inherently mean the "God Creation Hypothesis" is fully or even partially true? No. No it doesn't. For me, all that matters is evidence and if one can provide material and irrefutable evidence of a god, any god, then I will believe that such a being exists or had once existed, but again, this doesn't mean that x hypothetical god was responsible for the creation of the cosmos, unless the god in question can provide evidence for such a phenomenal feat.

In other words, I may not be a believer, but I am open minded to other possibilities, so long as they make it through my veil of skeptical and/or critical thinking process.

Interestingly, in other (much older) belief systems, such as Buddhism, the "Godhead" (or Nirvana) is visualised as pure untrammelled light.

The Big Bang theory was suppose to be a joke but now it stands !
You know what's the strangest thing about the universe ...? 98% of the space aka void aka nothingness is unknown matter !@#

How about that ... I am still fascinated by astronomy and await for new findings .
One thing is sure and definite for me ..
the God of Isreal made this universe with Jesus ...period
