Yes Redex....thankfully hope for the future is a positive focus....much better than looking backwards with rose coloured glasses........perfect for me to read today........ Kathy
Always looking to the future is basically wishing your life away. The future brings you closer to the end of your life here on earth. I try to be thankful for the here and now.
However, there is something about a fresh new day - new slate.
The mists of life flows deep as The mists of time grow weak. Back to the past I must travel And seek a time I can unravel. As the mist moves by without a trace.
Lady of the Lake let me see your face. It’s been so long since I felt this cold As this heart of mine grows ever old. Oh mists of time, where are you now, Let me feel you in my heart again, but how?
Kathy thanks for reading. the last verse needs a tweak the rythm is not there.

Ummka thank you and for the flower, the poet corner is sad at the loss of caffe, but yes he would want us to move on and bring the corner alive and fun again.

It seems to me it is a joke, about cafe. If he has left why his page not the block. I don't know why, but to me it was very sore, even now at me tears flow, but I think it a mean joke. His relatives I had to will take care of it to close his page.

Ummka i know excately what you mean, yes everyone is very sad about cafe, and even though we all live in different time lines, enough surely is enough to let the mans soul now rest in peace

lovecanbereal thanks for comment, written awhile ago and poetry seems to have flown from my pen-----those were the days.
One day it just might come back but in the mean time i visit here and read
Hi - I have to say this. Cafe's death is NOT a joke. The man had been sick since December 2016 and in and out of the hospital. The particulars of his illness and death is not necessary to put here. But a few of his friends here have been keeping track with him by e-mails and phone calls.
By removing his profile - it would take away his identity in this corner and possibly his poems. His poems need to continue to be shared.
His family is continuing to grieve and his friends too. Everyone grieves differently and for different lengths of time.
