No more will you have to sit at home alone Waiting intently for attention that's been largely unknown No more will you have to suffer in the heat Searching for the cool was always such a feat No more will you have to bump into things around Your vision impaired left an awful sound No more will you have to join the chorus at night The difference in your tones raised awareness of your fright No more will you have too scamper from the noise The fireworks above did nothing for your poise No more will you have to be chained when visitors came Your size and boisterous nature did ponder on their sane No more will you suffer no more at all Your time has come to leave this world 'Tis better in the fall And although I've failed along the way to be the best that I can My memory of you is always in the plan You helped me through the hardest years With a lick and wag of tail Been there right by my side When no wind left in my sail You let me know no matter what That you were alway there Regardless of your disposition You always had love to share ..............
