In the beginning I had my premonition So I made serious preparation I knew it from the start It was a game from the heart
It is a different course in cyberspace Than when we relate face to face Pretense is the rule of the game Sometimes reality evaporates and wanes
I am not shocked or surprised by the silence Because I have a free conscience I expect the unexpected each day So I was prepared for the game to be played
The writing was on the wall So the unforgiving chips begin to fall Don't worry;I wish you well As you move on to the next damsel
In my face, you threw my past The real you emerge at last I smiled instead of shed a tear Because I was prepared

About this poem:
I wrote it to capture the moods of relating to people on a personal level on the internet.I was prepared for the advantages and disadvantages but even outside of cyberspace we have to deal with them.
