A tribute to a remarkable friend, Jim aka, Cafe2010
Your wit and brilliance
Your sense of humor unhinged
You made us all laughed, cried
And even dance
Now you're gone
This place mourning in your absence
Could it be that there's a chance
You'll be back
Even just for a glance?
I know you knew we loved you
Adored and even venerated you
As a friend, brother, and perhaps
Even as a lover
Please remember you'll always be
In our hearts
You're not far away
Your writes, your lines
Will forever grace this place
We will always be near you.
We love you Cafe.
May you forever rest in peace.

He used to write me about all his activities and I will forever remember him.
Goodbye Jim.
Every time I read some ones poem about him ~ or see just how deeply others are missing him ~ they again start to trickle down my face.
He knew ~ for quite a while now ~ but he always tried to ease the worries of others.
What a fine man he was!
I hope we all keep him alive on C/S. I know that none of 'us' will ever forget him, but so that the 'newbies'' on this site will get to know his wonderful writings.
Missing you dear Jim.

Very beautiful recognition of our dear friend Cafe.
Hope his family validates his poetry and his legacy can be shared with many others.
As all of us mourne his absence; we only wish him peace and that his Soul be with the Lord forever. SM
We're lucky his legacy lives with us in the pages of his great ideas.
I'm sure he's reading our dedications. Smiling in content knowing how much of a love and joy he brought to us.

Thank you so much for this wonderful tribute to our beloved Cafe. It is beautiful, and so appreciated. I'm not a writer, so especially appreciate the poets' tributes to someone I think so highly of.
I'd actually had it in mind for a couple of years to attempt a tribute while he was still here with us.... well, he knows that now

I do hope that his poetry will remain in Poet's Corner.
I know his spirit will.
We can copy them if course, as long as his right as the original poet and writer is acknowledged.
I hope they'll remain with us.
He has, more than anyone else, made all of us glued together in this corner as friends, sisters and brothers.
We will never forget him.
I agree with you completely. Sometimes we all fall short of some of our expectations but we all come back around with more respects and love for each other.

I am sure, each and everyone of us has contributed to building up the spirit of a very loving atmosphere but he specially directed most of his efforts in making us all feel united.
Nu, your husband, expressed a lovely verse on behalf of all those that are missing and I can add that yes, if only all of them can all be here with us one more time to connect with each other, that would be great.
It might be a virtual world for the most of us, but I personally met so many of those that make this corner a most unique place to mingle and share our thoughts.
some of them including but not limited to Reguiny, (Phil), Ondos aka Pilgrimage of Love (John), Angel from Australia, Joycrest from Geneva, they too have made this place a lovely corner with all their contributions.
