Two old ladies tired and weary trudging down the street
Two old ladies lowered themselves down upon a seat
Two old ladies said "It's alright for you to laugh"
Two old ladies were about to be shown God's path
I'm not laughing; I'm smiling with love for you.
You wouldn't be smiling if you were Old and in Pain!
I'm not smiling because you're feeling blue
I'm smiling ‘cuz in my 30's I was afflicted too!
Arthritis consumed my body; I was crying out in pain
the agony all consuming; my body becoming lame.
I cried unto the Lord whilst sitting on my bed
I'll do anything you ask of me just take away this dread!
A friend arrived the following day, clasping a book all about
Meat
Of why we really do not need it & how the vegetable kingdom
is complete!
I eagerly tried it & within six weeks totally free from pain
Derived everything from that kingdom for my heath to sustain!
Instead of being in pain and lame
I had no reason to complain
I ventured out
Without a doubt
Teaching, caring & helping
In Jesus Name!

About this poem:
I met these two old ladies in Bundoran who were quite miserable in their pain and mistakenly thought I was laughing at them... Yet God used that opportunity to relay good news about how I had overcome the painful condition of arthritis.
Hi Lady, an excellent write from your pen. I am glad that the the arthritis has left you. I have a bit of it myself. The toes are hurting some but i guess the pain just lets me know I'm alive. I really like the way this one went. You have the way of bringing the reader into your story. May your pain ever run gold. Hugs....Mike. XX
