Moonlight Desire

“Moonlight Desire.”
By,
Michael P Clarke.

(Free Verse.)

My Vampire Queen in sorrow’s despair
Sing out into the night the hollow pain within
The anger of loss rips your soul
Always you think of your moonlight desire
Gone now into the darkness of destruction
You would give up your existance if fate would allow
But this can never be you must go on
Yet still there are ways to meet your end
Is this the night you desire to leave this hated world
You stand before the moon feeling moonlight desire
Memories of the past flood your mind
Blood tears falling as love sings
Madness of the night still pulls you into pain’s dungeon
Sing your song of longing into the night
Your desire that he knows your soul from his darkness
Nights of passion remembered from centuries gone
Agonising over love that is no more
The night shall never give you peace
This may be your last walk into the night
Your sorrow has broken you
Tonight you shall hunt the cursed Vampyre
At one point your guard shall fall
This shall be your moonlight desire
To join your beloved in nothingness
Your pain you must let consume you
The madness shall become so strong
Go off now into the night to meet your end
This is your one chance for peace eternal
Let the fates not intervean
Now go into the night
Let no one cross the path of the Vampyre queen
Go now to meet your beloved
May you now have your moonlight desire
