xmas where are you Poem

xmas where are you

Is it that time of year
With lots of cheer
We wish you a merry xmas
The cries ring out

Music plays we wish a merry xmas
I dont feel happy i feel sad
Gone is santa his present un opened
Lies where it was a decade ago
How the spirit broken the fun laughter gone
Should i laugh should i cry
My heart lays broken
Time flown
Decades gone
Where has xmas gone

I wish I still believed in Santa, it was so much more fun with him and Rudolph to brighten my Christmas. It is hard to get into the spirit of Christmas. I pay for the guy behind me when I go to McDonald's, even though he honked at me for not moving fast enough.santa waving reindeer

Many of us are alone for Christmas and the holidays can be challenging. However, I look at it as "It's just another day" - actually it's Christ's birthday - not ours - so I will celebrate his birthday with him! grin

Christmas's celebration is Jesus's birth for us Christians but also a season of family gathering, friends, co-workers, neighbors...Sorry to read about your sadness but rejoice. If you just look at the lights that glitter, music sounds, people are rushing to put their Christmas tree together, getting presents for the young ones, expecting loved ones to arrive etc.
Revive your spirit!! There is always something to be joyful about. You are alive and breathing and that is wonderful.Merry Christmas my friend!
