There's reason some writes touch on things dark life doesn't equate to 'walk in the park' Feeling our existence resembles a 'gift' insanity exclusion of fairness a spiteful injustice to humanity
I feel pain enveloping those who suffer undeserving societies indigents being treated as irrelevant unnerving This despicable world mentally beats us down some hover just above water rather than drown
Most disheartening knowing futures destined for worse mans insatiable appetite for destruction they can't reverse Majority believe in their gods others some devil evils alive "god" quiet on every level
Arduous writing about 'positivity' when so little of it that could reverse if laws had true grit Again not a pessimist slowly turned into one grateful if 'one' benefitted from write I done
Congratulations on 100. I will share something my Mom was always saying to me and it is very true. I know there is not equality in the world and there has to been since the beginning of time and I won't get into my beliefs. But she use to say "Smile - and the World smiles with you. Cry and you cry alone."
So I try to always present a happy front if I can - some days it's not possible. But what she says is very very true.
godsprincess: It sounds like your mother was wise...and it rubbed off on you. Thank you again beautiful lady for taking time to comment. I hope your new year is going well.
Your poem touched my heart. I know very well this deep sadness you deal with, but don't give up there is beauty in this world and we have to leave ourselves open for it.
