Underneath
Under water
Under the silver veil
I am sheathed
I am altered
I lie unaware
Wrapped in tepid silence
Be still my beating heart
Here Im safe from violence
Safety in the dark
Saline tears a vast ocean cried
I release my final breath
Slowly as I close my eys
And sink into the depths
