A Season For Love

Her sins were mine
I can’t proclaim innocense
Left out of my mind
Reality crumbles
Like the soft sand
Washed by the sea
Her desire inflamed me
No turning my back
On her radiant beauty
Beheld in my eyes
Beholden in my heart
We never quite grew up
Or our love grow apart
As long as our days
Love lasted into seasons
And seasons into years
