I sit up and yet look down, I watch with care for those that wear sadness like a mantle draped around their shoulders.
Watching whilst the teardrops fall, unable to caress or hold them tight I watch over them in the stillness of the night.
I hold each sorrow to my breast, yet when the first dawn’s rays appear its then I slowly disappear.
I hold their sorrow deep in side as I hide in the sunlight yet once again the dark descends and I am there for my dear friends.
So never fear, be sad or blue this shining star will watch over you, I'll hold your heart so tenderly because you mean the world to me.
Though nebula's may come and go this little star speaks true I love you then, I love you now until my fire is vanquished I will hold your troubled soul help you heal, and watch you grow, until another dawn arrives and I will go, but not too far so when you wish upon this star your heartache and sorrow will depart and once more you'll have a happy heart
