YET INSPIRED
All my life I've been different,
Liking many things others don't,
When they would say, "It will",
I'd usually reply, "It won't."
Not that I was unfriendly,
Was rather easy to approach me,
But when I would share my views,
Seems most would readily reproach me,
So I spent alot of time alone,
Wondering why I seemed misunderstood,
Little did I know that one day,
This cold rejection would turn to my good,
You see, it forced me to turn inward,
And I explored the world inside me,
There I discovered a Mighty Creative Force,
Who's only purpose is to guide me,
Yes, rejection hurts a little,
Life may seem at times so mired,
But through the unjust pain of rejection,
You can, you MUST!
Remain,
Yet Inspired

About this poem:
Frank Zappa once said, "It's a drag being rejected." True. But to me, interpreting our world differently than most is evidence that we're on a more enlightened journey through this reality, whatever the f**k it is!?

But deep inside I remained confident and Yet Inspired because I truly knew, many things, about alot of things, they they didn't know a thing, about.
And quite frankly, I still think that way when in casual or important conversations with folks here in Central Texas. Ultra-conservative area.
