It's Christmas Time Again

Once again it is almost Christmas
The trees are being cut down
Ready for the event we all hold
So dear to us, presents are being
Displayed around the tree and
Finally the lights are being carefully
arranged so they don't tangle
and become a hazard.

Santa is getting ready
For another big year of deliveries
The children are waiting in anticipation
Hoping their hero will not disappoint
Them by leaving a piece of coal instead
Of a lovely gift they have always wanted

The reindeers are poised to depart
The North Pole as Santa says "Ho Ho Ho," let's go
The sky is clear as Santa hovers the roofs
Delivering to many children, some he could
Not do as they had no chimneys to climb down.

Santa left a pick up card from the Post Office
For the unlucky ones, when all was said and done
Santa gave a huge, "Ho Ho Ho" and disappeared
Into the night, in all Christmas is a success until next time.
