You lie in wait for your chance to leap Springing your weight off coiled legs I watch as you jump into the air so high And drift towards the center of the sky And float into a slow motioned decent Wings folding back as your claws come out I'm still watching as you fall like lighting Fast not even time to move or shout Just as suddenly with pretentious aim Adrenaline and action bulging in your veins Held back only for a moment in time Before releasing wildly like flames Turning blindly and out of control With such ferocity for survival you strike Leaving only a pile of fur and bones
