My Daddy took me dancing,my feet on top of his
I was so small, he stood real tall
My eyes looked up in awe,he blew me down a kiss

My Daddy took me walking and we stopped
by the blossom tree.
We heard the birds,we saw a Owl
He said that it winked at me !

He took me waltzing amongst a happy crowd
He held my hand, his head held high we smiled
And as he led me round, both he and I felt proud.

He was my hero, i loved to hear him sing
He passed away so suddenly and i
was sure my life would end
