Pardon Me I Thought I Knew Your Name

Pardon me I thought I knew your name
I guess I must be mistaken
But isn't that the same lovely dress I've seen once before
And the way that you walk I thought I was for sure

Those eyes of blue
How could I be so confused
The way your lips seem to pout
I just can't figure this out

And the way your hair
Falls off your shoulder
I don't mean to stare
Now all of a sudden it's turning colder

I guess there's no need to return
So I'll be on my way
Forget I looked concerned
There's nothing left to say

And as I'm standing at the door
I'm trapped by the pouring rain
I guess I must be mistaken
Pardon me I thought I knew your name
