All One (Definition, Triangular, Nonet)

A
single
u n i t y,
a oneness, all
encompassing, sums
everything we now own.
Possessions of no value
defining how we are assessed.
Judged, without the monad of our souls

About this poem:
Definition poetry as the word suggests, defines the subject.
Triangular poems, are one of the shapes you can make a poem conform to, in shape or concrete poetry.
Nonets are poems of nine lines, where the first line is one syllable, and you add one syllable to each subsequent line, until the ninth line has nine syllables.

I admire your ability to create structured poetry
- nonet, sonnet, acrostic, haiku/senryu, cinquain, etc..
They take more effort to produce and you are doing a great job.

I wrote a nonet that I wish to share with you and the others.
It is somewhat light-hearted compared to yours
and an upside-down triangle.

Old Age
Author: socrates44

when I was young I could run a mile
now I watch the track with a smile
these legs are not like before
in fact they feel quite sore
folks say it's a stage
it's the last page
it is called
the old
age

Socrates44 your poem is great. You managed to say a lot with few lines and your triangle is perfect.
