The intermittent sleep
Of the trees
In the darkness
Of my window ,
And the rustle
Of leaves,
Like a groan,
And the rain,
Monotonous rain,
And the park,
And the empty lane
And a couple of enamored,
And me,
Watching them.
And the rain.
