A Place

If I could only see
Far beyond the sunrise
And look for that place
Where there are no horizons
Dawn never arrives
And a misty sunset
Was a dream
Long forgotten in the past
As if life
Was a vacuum
Staring blindly back
And yet
There is nothing to see

Hope, was a nonsense word
Love, was solely meant
For the imaginative
I sought for beauty
Not within you
Only within myself

If I could only see
If I could only see

Hello Rob,
It has been a long time... I have been off of here for 5 years. Now I am back as of early November...So Just a Hello to start with..
Very Nice Poem indeed... I can relate to the Poem, as i had to read it twice to absorb it...
I can Relate. We all have Bad Days, and sometimes Bad Years... Keep your pants up, and your belt tight as you walk through this time in life...It always seem to come back together...Keep Writing, It seems to let out pressure....
I may just have to write a few again Myself...
