The Town Of All Alone

This part of Kentucky is dying
Most of the people who were here are dead and gone
In this part of Kentucky no one is crying
There's no one left to cry in the town of all alone

And memories have become vague shadows
The view from the front and back porch no longer matters
The only sound is the wind as it blows
For they took up the railroad tracks years ago

Its sad for me to say only time words were well said was yesterday
And a storm blew down the sign for the speed zone
In this part of Kentucky no one is crying
Please beware of steep curves in the town of all alone
