Love could be written in sand Could be written in the stars Like a seal of approval From gods Venus to Mars I’ve got you in my sights Focused front and center The light mingles between us Bending and compromising What will the future behold Will life ever grow old Or always be renewed Like the mountain spring Shading by blooming trilliums Our stories could be interwoven Across all the millenniums Like the warblers that sing In the fresh wilderness forest Along the ridge top spruces Far above the hidden dangers Lurking under the canopy Our space is always won When our survival beckons Our arrival each spring When we build our own nest And pledge to do our best

About this poem:
A fight song for the endangered warblers. Join me in promoting and protecting our natural heritage and raising environment awareness.
Thanks you Kathy. Likewise The priorities are all upside down. Oil continues to be king across most of the world and who has it and who doesn't. Such a big mess. Whole economies totally dependent on it.

When there is nothing left to burn, and to pollute with; then maybe they will know; although there is no certainty in this, judged by the way we are going....

Hi Yankee ........ nice thoughts mate ...... it’s scary to note that just in the last month here there has been an unprecedented amount of complete species almost eradicated from the bushfires ........this is a natural event to some degree ....... there has to be more done to advance the volumns of wildlife reqd to keep the species ...... the ocean is also another front .....:: we have to reinvest on a global scale as it is a global supply ...... the ocean is only so deep
