I wonder what the world would be If you were never there. I wonder what the world would be If everybody cared
Your love has no boundaries, nor governed by rules. It flows about freely despite all those fools Listen you mortals who think you’re so cool. Ever living your life to fool other fools
Trying to prove you are better by far Than those, who you cast to the side As you drive about in your new car, Hoping they’ll find a new place to hide
You keep trying to fool all those that you meet. Looking to find what it is that you need Searching, not knowing it’s right at your feet Waiting to end your longing and greed
Yet those who endure cruel lessons of life Knowing, they are no better than you, They’ve already found the meaning to life They bend and give love so freely to you Ere all of their days are full of life's strife
Each day you share your kindness and grace Giving your love, with no conditions at all. Making the world a much brighter place Providing a safe place breaking our fall.
Though we are just specks laced upon time Your light breaks the darkness that’s all around. Providing the courage to continue the climb Enriching our life because you’re around
I wonder what the world would be If you were never there. I wonder what the world would be If everyone cared.

About this poem:
I dated a Pastor for a while and while it never worked out she and her friends were amazing people. I reflected on their contribution within their little sphere and came up with this.
This speaks to me so much! I am a Christian and it touches my heart when I see or hear or read about Christians living as true Christians. It also shows a beautiful heart in you to be able to see and appreciate the goodness in her. God bless!
