This little piggy ........

Sweltering in the morning heat
As time allows a market seat
I ponder on the sights and sound
As different cultures do surround
The chatter of languages does appeal
A difference in faces does reveal
A myriad of people so rich and rare
All at ease and willing to share
Different shapes different sizes
Different colours and more surprises
All a part of the market place
Where life has its own pace..........

We have a farmers market from May to October, but still runs in a building. Amish sell fresh baked stuff which must be eaten right away as their bread has no preservatives. I had a loaf that was green after only three days.

Hi Mc ........... that is probably the only thing you can’t get at this market .........but I did try the pan fried beef dumplings and they were that good I had to go back for more......... Regards Nu
