You know my beliefs on this. But we will found out in the end the mysteries of the world and the Universe. With billions and trillions of stars to be the only inhabitants - who knows - a mystery to be pondered to the end of time. Good to see you back on writing!

I could give you some answers to your question but.. I don't think the poetry section is the right place for that.

Kathy,
Thanks for the comment, although I don't think that we were ever meant to know it all. If we are meant to; then it would take a long long time...

Good question my friend. I ask myself that question too a lot of times. Even my walks along the beach bring that question to mind. Most people just don't care; about themselves, about others, about their environment; and like you said about our planet.
Apparently the odds about us making a change in our lives is 9 to 1 (even if we are facing a life threatening illness). What would the odds be for us to make changes if it's for somebody else or for the environment?
As you know I have my beliefs as Kathy. There are many Whys unanswered in this world but I am sure the Lord has given you a purpose in this life LCBR. As more knowledge is discovered day by day it gets closer to the truth. Maybe your purpose is right here on this dating site to let us know that LOVE CAN BE REAL.
The plastic question is one that arises out of this caring too late. I remember when I got my pop from a glass bottle and they were recycled, seems we did better back in the 70s than now.
Oriental, you are right about people not caring about much these days. I think at least some of this stems from most of us feeling powerless as individuals.
South Miami, maybe it is better late than never; although I feel most of us have a distinct purpose in this life.
Mcradloff. Yes, I agree, somethings were better, before, when things were simpler, I feel the problem; as you have also mentioned in some of your work, is OVERPOPULATION, (plain, and simple).
