The promise of spring is in the air
Sights and sounds tantalizing nose and ear
Crocuses bravely breaking forth from the ground
Centers of gold – looking like little purple crowns

Gentle rain with a misty fog on the pond
Bringing mystical creatures with loud sounds
Little tiny beings gathering together to sing
Tantalizing us with the promise of spring

Snow melting slowly into the ground and streams
Provoking even more wishful spring dreams
Temperatures dipping way up and way down
Helping to keep hopes and dreams abound

Early Snowdrops have blossomed and gone
While spring flowers still sleeping underground
New bright green peeking up here and there
Fueling the feeling of spring in the air

Lenten season will be soon gone
Then the promise of Easter morning dawn
Celebrating our Risen Savior resurrected and alive
And the blessing of Spring and warm sunshine

Thank you Joy - afraid all our lovely Spring flowers were under a coating of heavy wet snow this morning. Fortunately it melts away fast now. Looking forward to warm weather. Stay safe and well.

Thank you South Miami - hope you had a beautiful Easter Day. But "Every Morning is Easter Morning From Now On" - song. Take care and don't hurry to the beach down there like everyone else is. Stay safe.

What a beautiful write ~ AGAIN. AS ALWAYS!

It's really too bad that the entire universe is not able to see the world through the same eyes as you do. What a wonderful place it would be for all mankind.

Much Love ~ Mady teddybear hug teddybear

Thank you Joy - I too am looking forward to warmer weather. Here in New York yesterday the Arctic vortex had snow squalls all day long - nothing stayed on the ground long when the sun came out in between - but I had to cover up my Bleeding Heart bushes praying that they wouldn't freeze. Haven't dared look under the garbage cans I tipped up over them and weighed down with rocks due to the strong winds.

Kathy ~ Me thinks that perhaps those little hummingbirds might be slightly delayed by the coating of white on those bird

Mady - now that the full moon is by I think Spring has finally arrived with lots of rain and this week 60 degree weather. So hopefully the hummingbirds are here. It's been a long lonely hoe this late winter/early spring. Hopefully the weather is looking up and with warm weather COVID-19 will fade away until Fall or even better forever.
