One Fateful Night

And we were watching out into infinity
All the stars drowning in a Galactic Sea
Bright markers in the seamless darkness
Large as whales plundering to its depths
Our lens just as clear as a mirror imagine
The very portrait of my suffering soul
Whose only one possession of any value
Is my soul belongs to me and me alone
