Now the shades down low
evening in the street
puttin' down the rhythm
toying with the beat
taking my time
writing up the lines
feeling my way
with the old time rhymes
grinding to the flow
work it nice and slow
careful how I'm swimmin'
watch the undertow
riding like the dog
know its understood
haters on the corners
get you if they could

I like the beat of the hip hop.
In my younger years I would love to hear Decimas, Controversias and Cuban folklore music of my culture. Two singers sing back and forth with amazing precision in words and the touchy music as it is.
I am sure you can play this one on your guitar .....
I also looked into one of your mentioned poets; Charles Bukowski and enjoyed one of his writings: " How to be a great writer" Thanks for sharing my friend. SM
