I walked away from you
‘Cause you thought that you knew
The needle was your best friend
We spoke about it many a time
What made it so sublime
We knew how it was going to end
Stronger than you or I
It’s power the ultimate sigh
How would you defend
Years have passed
How did you last
Did you manage to transcend
Through the haze
And worldly maize
I haven’t forgotten you my friend......

Hi GP ....... This was in the early stages and although I knew what the out come would be ..... he was in the ‘ I’ve got this stage ‘ I didn’t see the negative side of it
