A little check mark next to my name Or any slip of paper to bookmark What I have set off like firecrackers Such images to take center stage When something strange becomes Suddenly so curious so wondrous To go back to day after day What wild scenes will take place Beckoning as would be for beauty Beholding something more valuable Does a simple shutter speed capture Something that will last forevermore An imagine ingrained in your brain Now even with your eyes closed In the sunbeams streaming rapture A simple truth never shown more Nor most interestingly composed Then the pictures that will take shape Like the great spotlight on the wall And the star starts falling will glow Only briefly after going along so far Delight and dance in your heart
