GIFTS FROM NATURE....

Tiny birds eggs, speckled-opaque
Australian opals, natural gems make
Golden honey to sticky toffee, glows
Gum-topaz, as sun worshippers know

Beauty unique, nature develops-grows
Like glistening white, flakes of snow
Ice, diamonds and crystal shine
Gold-rosy hues, the sunset signs

Some see beauty, in thunder skies
Shaking heavens, as a giants sighs
Followed by rainbows, giver of hope
Natural ways, that help us cope

Some like peaceful country scenes
Others seek ocean, supreme and serene
Or head for bright lights, city sounds
Searching their peace, wherever found

Experience from life, pleases their soul
Seeking within, to make themselves whole
No real rules, can make that special day
You find your path, to find your own way......

We have a possibility of windmills 690 feet high coming in 2023 ouside of Mineral Point and Dodgeville. I hope not because the rolling hills around here are beautiful in southern Wisconsin.daydream rose daisy

macradloff...I imagine the windmills are for energy, not the old type that ground flour and the like using water flow as power. Thank you for your commenting.....it's appreciated.
I admit thinking the new type ruin the once peaceful settings, but if it saves us from what I recall in Wales on holiday as a child, after coal mining had been abandoned....
Hopefully we are learning.... I was raised in an area along the Thames where brick making left holes so deep huge metal sheets had to be fitted to stop .....horses and carts from falling down in the 1950's.
