Delicate merge, of pinks and blues over a sky, with beautiful rosy hues As a baby's quilt, gentle pastels fade Awe inspiring moments, nature made
As night-time eases, to overtake Day time, as the sunshine makes, Hasty retreat, allowing the night To take its place, dark from bright
Gentle shades, must soon disappear Spring twilight, in peace without fear Preparing all, for the summer to come Time for cooler nights, from summer... run....

About this poem:
The sky from every angle in a soft pastel twilight mode, never seen before.

This is nice and colourful. Some of the sunsets at this time of year are amazing. Makes me want to take up water colour painting - except I can't paint!

avocet22.....this sunset was strange for me, as I have never seen one all over the sky, as usually it is deeper shades and towards the beach.....I was stunned, seeing the canopy over the house....unbelievable... Thanks for the comment....Kathy NZ

The truth is nature gives us such treasures as a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Niah, you have the talent to make it come alive with your words. Enjoyed this colorful picture. SM
One of the best pictures I saw this year was one of the moon all orange from the California wildfires.

southmiami.....you must be heading to your fall, as we head into summer....and I wonder if that was why the sky colours were new to me from home.....something never seen before speckled sky wide, and so delicate....I had to write it up in poetry form as a record.....thank you so much for reading ....Kathy NZ

mcradloff...that is so scary.... not sure I could class it as beautiful when Australia had so many fires burning out of control. I had a sinking feeling every time I looked at our NZ sky. Misty gold with yes a hint of orange....made me feel sick, knowing even though miles away, we could sense the pain and turmoil of Australians, coping with so much loss, mirrored so clearly in our kiwi skies. Thanks for reading my poem and leaving a comment....Kathy NZ
