Tapestry

Tapestry
Is a life’s work.
Twisting threads
Weaving their way.
Some unravelled.
Some broken.
Some sparkling
Silver some of gold.
Where do the threads connect?
What do they mean?
Do the gold and silver
Connect to something
Beautiful?
Do the unravelled
Show the issues
You’ve had a good to solve?
Do the broken threads
Show heartache and pain?
Tapestry
A life still unfolding.
Weaving and connecting
Bringing
Balance
Bringing joy
Bringing hope
Telling my story.

Tapestries are beautiful. I remember one always up in the living room. (The Last Supper) where Jesus was with all his disciples...Your poem is so true, each tapestry is a work of art and every weave captures the artist's view of this world as you did with your words. Thanks for sharing. SM
