Burnout

I used to work a 40 hour week for a livin
But now it's 54 hours this week
66 hours next week
Lots of extra money
But
I don't care about all of that
All I really want is my forty hours a week back
The money does add up
For those who enjoy being there then good for them
I don't like that place at all
It really is painful for me to be there any hours above the 40
Pain from the mean people, my hurt knees, feet, back, and head
Lack of sleep
Just being tired of being around all these fellas I'd wish I had never known
With the dollar losing it's value daily
It's no wonder many feel that working 40 hours a week for a livin
Just ain't a livin
It's just scraping by

Stay positive McRad,
Don't let the demons inside your head grind you down. Enjoy the Christmas break.

Regards Mick.

Sympathise McRadloff, I'm lucky enough to only do 35, sometimes a bit more but never over 40.
Yep keep Xmas in sight!

hi mcradloff. i am really sorry about your overwork. really wish you to enjoy your Xmas hollidays. try to see small joys in your life. like, for example, something especially tasty on your table, some kind of small but heart-warming purchase .. a beautiful view from the window, a beautiful sunset .. etc ...
