These Clouds

these clouds,
have been here since you've not.
a grey dismal shroud,
a reminder of all things we've fought.

They just rain.
And it pours night and day.
Like your tear soaked pain,
It washes me away.

I’ve gone so far,
You’re a painful memory.
Like all my other cuts and scars,
That’ll forever haunt me.

Will the rain ever stop?
Will blue skies replace the gray?
Will the water levels drop?
Will I stop getting washed further away?
